GN ReSound Surefit 3 Domes

GN ReSound Surefit 3 Domes are compatible with all newer Resound RIC-style hearing aids, and are specifically designed to keep your GN ReSound hearing aids clean, comfortable and working well. Hearing aid domes are made from a soft silicone material which can absorb wax and bacteria, as well as breaking down over time. This increases the risk of your hearing aids causing your ear to feel itchy, as well as making the dome more likely to split and affect the quality of sound your hearing aids are producing. Scheduling in the replacement of your hearing aid domes as part of your regular maintenence routine can help your hearing aids perform optimally and helps to prevent more costly repairs being needed in the future.

How Often Should I Replace My Domes?

Most people change their domes monthly to make sure their hearing aids stay well maintained. Some people may need to change them more often than this if they produce more wax than other people, or if their ears are prone to feeling warm or itchy. Regardless of your normal maintenence routine, if the sound quality from your hearing aids reduces we would always recommend replacing the wax filter, microphone filters and dome.
