Oticon miniFit domes are compatible with the majority of Oticon hearing aids. Designed in multiple shapes and sizes to provide the maximum comfort to every ear these domes will make sure that your hearing aids provide you with the optimum sound. To make sure that your hearing aids keep working at their best it is good practice to schedule in the regular replacement of your hearing aid domes. Over time the soft silicone material of your hearing aid domes can soften as well as absorb wax and bacteria. For some people this may cause your ears to feel itchy, and can also affect the sound quality of your hearing aids.

How Often Should I Replace My Domes?

To make sure that your hearing aids stay well maintained most people will replace their domes once a monthly. However, if your ear are often itchy, or you know you produce a lot of wax, then then you may need to replace your domes more often. Regardless of your normal maintenence routine, if your hearing aids don’t sound as good as normal then we would always recommend replacing the wax filters and domes.
