Phonak Infinio Ultra 50

The Infinio 50 has the following features in addition to those available in the Infinio 30:

Automatic programmes

• Speech In Car – The Infinio 50 model is able to automatically detect when you are travelling in a car and will compensate for this to reduce low frequency broadband noise in order to give you the best chance of hearing conversation from your companions.
• Comfort In Noise – If you find yourself in a noisy environment with no speech to hear the Infinio 50 will reduce the overall volume of your hearing aids to maximise listening comfort. When speech is detected it will automatically switch back to the Speech In Noise setting to make sure that you don’t miss out.

Sound Clarity

• Motion Sensor Hearing – This allows these hearing aids to detect when you are stationary and when you are moving, allowing the hearing aids to automatically adapt to your environment. When movement is detected they will switch to pick up sound from all around you, ensuring that you can hear traffic, or people walking beside you, as well as possible. When you are still again they will change back to their default setting with a forward-focus (dependent on your audiologist-defined settings) to reduce background noise as much as possible.
• 16 Channels – Hearing aids have multiple channels, allowing different pitches of sound to be amplified by differing amounts. The higher the number of channels the more accurately the hearing aid can be programmed to your individual hearing levels, and the less likely it is that the hearing aid will under-amplify or over-amplify some sounds. This model has 4 more channels than the Infinio 30.

Other Features

• SoundRelax – This feature helps to reduce the amplification of sudden loud sounds, such as doors slamming, or pots and pans banging, in order to provide less distortion and a more comfortable hearing experience.
